Terms and Conditions

(These terms and conditions are written in both English and Chinese. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between the Chinese version and English version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.)

      1. The enrolee must be 18 years old or above. A maximum of 5 persons per group, no age limit for family members.
      2. Enrolment will not be accepted after the enrolment deadline.
      3. Enrolment cannot be cancelled or changed after submission. Participant should ensure that the personal data provided is accurate. In the event of false declaration or impersonation resulting in any loss or damage to Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF HK) or other event participants, UNICEF HK reserves the right to take legal actions against relevant parties.
      4. UNICEF HK reserves the right to limit and refuse entries without providing any reasons to the participant.
      5. UNICEF HK reserves the right to disqualify any person from and nullify his/her result of the event if a participant is found by UNICEF HK to have violated or committed (as the case may be any of the following rules:
      6. a. The participant commits or attempts to commit any act which is in violation of the laws of HKSAR or the National Security Law governing HKSAR at the event or other venues or area relating to the event;
        b. The participant carries out or attempts to carry out any kind of demonstration or political, religious or racial propaganda at the event or other venues or area relating to the event.
      7. The event will be cancelled in the following conditions:
      8. a. A Red or Black Rainstorm Warning Signals or Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted at any time from 8:00a.m. on the day before the event;
        b. A Red or Black Rainstorm Warning Signals or the Tropical Cyclone Signal No.3 or above is in effect at 12:00 a.m. on the event day;
        c. Any other extreme situation, including but not limited to severe weather or unsafe road conditions
        If the Hong Kong Observatory forecasts inclement weather on the day of the event with a high likelihood of weather warnings being issued, UNICEF HK reserve the right to change the event route or postpone the event.
      9. If the event is cancelled due to whatever reasons, no refund will be made and the event will not be rescheduled.
      10. UNICEF HK reserves the right to use the images of participants for promotional purposes.
      11. UNICEF HK reserves the right to edit the above terms and conditions without prior notice.
      12. UNICEF HK reserves the right of interpretation of any information in relation to UNICEF Charity Run.
